Below are various posts from the internet bulletin boards. There are pages and pages of more post out there including a call on most boards for everyone to boycott all the clubs in the Dollhouse Group. Many of these posts, including the ones posted by a manager from the Dollhouse Group have obvious untruths. I have pointed out some of the most obvious errors. Read all the stuff below with a questioning mind. ORIGINAL STORY: According to what I was told by a usual very reliable source close to the victim. This was a Swedish guy and the beating occurred at the Dollhouse. Apparently in regards to the customer refusing to pay for LD for his lady he brought with him. the mamasan then had the security guards beat the hell out of him and he wound up in a coma from which he may not recover. initially no charges were laid.. however after the Swedish embassy got involved things changed .. the guards were apparently detained and the mamasan on the run.. sounds to me like there is more to this story that we do not know at this point though, allegedly it happened a few nights ago, anyway lets wait for more info to come to light as this somehow seems a little strange, there is likely more to it.

This is a summary of information
gathered so far by me (Steward aka, Sloppy) of the incident
involving Thomas
The gentlemen entered the bar with his companion who was bar fined from genesis club in the early hours of the morning and were both obviously quite drunk. The companion was dancing on the stage and stripping her street clothes of and was asked by the mumasan to get down as there was a dance group was on stage and she could dance later on stage in the party time bracket the girl went down but said a few harsh words. The girl and possibly Thomas knew some customers that had been there already in the bar and they were firing poppers at each other across the bar. She continued to dance sexily showing off and flirting to the other group of customers dancing and grinding with Thomas were they were sitting. The girl disappeared to the cr and after more than 20 mins Thomas asked the waitress to go get her she returned with the waitress. After drinking more she again went to the cr this time it was for a even longer time and and this time Thomas got angry and picked up her bag and left the bar. The waitress had Thomas stopped as the bill had not been paid and he yelled at the staff that she can pay it she drank them why should he need to pay she wasn’t staying with him in the bar. There was never a ladies drink put on her bill only a regular priced customer drink. She came out of the bar got her bag from him and paid the bill. They then tried to re enter the bar but they were refused entry being to drunk and mad already out the front. Some back and forth pushing occurred and he was injured after falling and hitting the back of his head. The office manager arrived and by that time he had been injured so it was arranged by the manager to take him to Angeles medical by tike. His condition was stable when he was taken to hospital. i have not said there was not a fight with the doorman and that is something we and the police are investigating in regards who pushed or who hit who i will not speculate as the information i have at hand is one sided and as i said the matter will be going to court as charges against the doorman were filed by a third party girl who incidently did not witness the event. im sorry if i have been vague about the pushing and the injury recieved to the back of his head if i have any more facts on the incident that can be confirmed i will post them. as yet no one has come fourth to either the police or ourselves with any information
i do not as yet have any more
information to report no credible witness or reports that can be
confirmed. but i have recieved a lot of personnally insulting
hate mail to my email address as well as somr that could be seen
as threats. in the incident were pushing was concerned that
resulted in the knjury i only have a one sided story from the
doorman and i have chosen not to post that as i would rather
hear both sides either through being contacted by a credible
witness or through waht is presented at any court case. i have

do not wish to make light of this matter but this is a very rare
incident in this town angeles city is still a wonderful place to
visit and is safe for tourists as long as you take the normal
precautions when travelling in any foreign country. Many places
i have lived in over the years had much more serious incidents
at night clubs on regular basis and waking up with a hang over
and needing stitches was common place for many of the guys i
knew. I wish Thomas all the best for a speedy recovery and wish
him all the best.

DEC: what part of my explanation does not hold as
i have said any one with facts or information come let me know
so i can correct any information that i have i am seriously
looking into this. I have watched the video the streaming is
really bad and yes his injuries look terrible with black eyes
and they seem to be from more than a fall but i have not once
seen any drink reciepts for dld for the girl he was with. If im
wrong please send me a copy of the reciept so i can usee it. i
have never said the doorman were not to blame in fact i have not
quoted there side of the story as i have doubts about it. All i
have said was there was some pushing incident that lead to his
fall and injury wether punching or assualt occurred how do i
know all i have is the doorman to question if i tell you his
side ill just get flamed more. by the time i was asked to look
into the matter by management when i came back from my day off i
beleive Thomas was out of the hospital so
i was not able to talk to him all i had was a medical
report to go by. This will not be swept under any carpet and the
doorman involved will be taken to court and processed to the
full extent of the law as the charges have been filed already.
If they are found guilty this is not my decision but the court
then they will be punished. Threats against the company that i
have recieved now including personnal threats now against my
self and my family with one even quoting my address are not
appreciated and causing some serious distress. I am genuine in
that i want to help thomas recieve justice in this matter. I am
sorry this incident has occurred but please give me a chance to
help thomas by working within the system. Im really not sure
what else to tell you guys no matter what i say it will not be
good enough it could of been doorman at any club on the strip it
just happened to be at doll house and i personnaly have been
accepting responsibility for it. The threads on this incident
seem to be constantly hijacked by dhg haters who have an axe to
grind about double ladies drinks, please lets keep that to other
threads please.

but As of 1 January Thomas was still in the hospital and his
friend there say they have seen no one from DHG. To me this
error (or lie) about him being out of the hospital kills the
credibility about the version of the event that was reported to
him by his staff.
UNKNOWN POSTER: I've worked in Emergency Medical
Response for a major metropolitan in the US at the ACLS level
for twenty years and by observing the single picture, I concur
with Midget 7 descriptions and probable diagnosis of his facial
injuries. Thomas has bilateral black eyes we call "Raccoon Eyes"
which is typical of a basilar skull fracture. He probably
received that from hitting the back of his head onto the
pavement as a result of a fall. The injuries on his face are not
indicative of one that has been repeatedly beaten upon the face
as there are no other areas of swelling which would be
accompanied by discoloration. There also appears to be dry blood
in his ear, another indication of a possible skull fracture. The
blood in the ear is the result of the loss of Cerebral Spinal
Fluid or CSF. For more information, do a google search on
"Basilar Skull Fractures." UNKNOWN "EYE WITNESS" THAT POSTED ON ASIAN ESCAPADES ON 31 DEC: All right, here's how it went: Thomas came into dollhouse with a girl from another bar. He had a few drinks and he paid his bill. In the meantime the girl who was with him ordered drinks for herself, on her own account. He decided to leave the bar and one of the mamasans came out right behind him and accused him of not paying. In the meantime, girl was paying the bill. Things got out of hand and the same mamasan slapped Thomas in the face. He tried to hold her hands and prevent her from hitting him again. The in-house security jumped in and started hitting him until he fell on the ground. They continued kicking him while down until he was unconscious. Some of the onlookers came in to help prevent further bashing and immediately placed Thomas into the tricycle and sent him of to the hospital. He sustained multiple head injuries and was unconscious for days. You saw the picture of him and I will not re-post it since someone else did that. I hope that this serves as a wake up call for everybody. 30 Dec: Latest on Thomas is he is still very confused, in pain with all his head injuries and want to leave the hospital...this does not seem advisable as there could be complications. So far his bill is up to P90K which is not part of his vacation budget. he is saying he want to leave the hospital and then go home.. his main concern to him seems to be his hospital bill. I've been told he still is not thinking straight at all and from the pictures I'm not surprised. That was never caused by falling over....or did a jeepney run over his head without him knowing. Sloppy has been very helpful and is determined to get to the bottom of this. There are a few accounts of what happened but more been the one where he was seen being beaten outside the club. They just need Thomas to become mentally aware 100% and speak his side. 30 Dec: My last contact with a friend today said he was still in the hospital, he has not left yet as he has to pay the P90k bill but the doctors say it will takes 10 to 15 weeks for a full recovery. That's why his friends are trying to get a better opinion as to it being ok for him to leave the hospital. As you have seen it was not just a bump to the head and we do not know if proper scans or a specialist has been to take a proper look at what may be hidden. 31 Dec from a fellow Swede: I was in roadhouse tonight, and Fred had some contact with Thomas, but he still seem to be in a very bad condition. Fred even was in the hospital a few days ago but he could not get a real conversation with him because if his bad condition, I have asked many people here about the incident in dollhouse and everyone have told me the same, that he replies from the dollhouse group are just bullshit. From what i have been told two guards hit him down on the street and the mamasan in the bar was kicking him in the head very hard also after he was knocked out by the guards. Someone also have paid money to get the guards out of the jail I was told so right now none is in arrest for maybe destroying the life of a guy just for nothing. But that is just what i have heard. You never know as there is a lot of talk in this town. But if its true what I heard I will never spend a single peso in any business that belong to the dollhouse group. I have still not been able to talk to Thomas even if I have his number now. From Netguard (former bar owner in Angeles) 9 Jan 2010 I just got off the phone with Thomas' doctor, the injuries could not have been caused by falling over..."findings were indicative of a mauling" I tried hard to confirm this post, but even though we talked to numerous doctors involved in his care, none were willing to give me a statement.

HARRY THE HORSE VERSION:
Allegedly, the incident took place around 0200 hrs, 22 Dec and involved a Mamasan and a member of the internal security force employed by the Doll House. A source informed me that the foreigner was accused of leaving the premises without paying his bill but in truth, the girl he was with was inside paying the bill at the time he was attacked. Supposedly the Mamasan slapped the foreigner and when he went to grab the Mamasan in defence, the guard grabbed him and knocked him down. Then, allegedly, the Mamasan, the guard and the door boy continually kicked the man in the head while he was down on the ground. This resulted in brain damage, bleeding from the ear, internal bleeding from both sides of the brain and both eyes blackened. The Doll House management claims that it was an "accident". An interview with the victim was impossible as he was not conscious when I received this information. (30 Dec 09) - Last night I learned that Tom is out of his coma but is not well. He is suffering from memory loss and the doctors have said, if there are no complications, it will take him 16 weeks to recover. I visited station four and found that two individuals were arrested and taken to the Fiscal. Many feel the charge should be attempted murder but Fiscal Garcia decided to charge them with assault only and they were released on P6,000 bail each. What a weak assed decision and you can bet if it was a foreigner who kicked a Filipino so brutally, the charge would be more severe and the bail, if any given, would be much higher. Allegedly, the Dollhouse management is trying to brush this off as an "accident" saying the guard pushed Thomas and he fell, striking his head on the pavement (Does the picture of Thomas to the right look like an accidental fall?). Supposedly there is a sign in the Dollhouse ladies room encouraging visiting ladies from other bars to ask for a ladies drink and get a commission. Additionally, a source informed me that after talking to one of the Filipino managers of the Dollhouse he was told that it was their policy to charge visiting ladies for ladies drinks. If that, is indeed, their policy then it is bullshit and can lead to many more incidents in a Club known for ripping off foreigners with their billing practices. If I took my wife into the Doll House or any other woman and they charged me for a ladies drink, I absolutely would not pay it! I have heard that the Swedish expats in town are boycotting the Dollhouse and are encouraging Swedish visitors to this town to do the same. My feeling is, as it has been for a number of years, that I do not go to the Doll House or any of the other Clubs under this Group because I do not trust their billing practices. It appears that the owner of this Group is out to buy up as much as he can on Fields Ave and might feel he is so rich and powerful that he can step on anyone he wants. Right now, the following establishments come under the Doll House Group: Doll House, Crystal Palace, Baby Dolls (previously Byrd Cage), Tropics, Atlantis, Pony Tail (Darn I like this one, decent Expat management here), Club Asia and what was the Blue Nile Executive Club. Could the Golden Nile be next and what about the property that used to be the Vian Lodge? That is a lot of entertainment under one persons control and the money supply must be endless. I applaud successful businessmen who come here and do well and provide great entertainment to visitors but I begin to worry when the safety of those living and visiting here is questionable when they enter certain clubs. These internal security men should be trained to subdue a person without using excessive force, something the goons in the Doll House Group have not learned to do. I have heard that further investigations into this attack is on-going and that the CIDG is involved as well. One other thing I would like to see is those ridiculous looking ladies in front of the Doll House and Atlantis moved off the street and closer to the entrance of the Clubs. Their practice of grabbing people and trying to pull them into the Club is not acceptable and can lead to confrontations. I was informed of one incident where a father was walking with his 15 year old son and he was grabbed by one of the Atlantis Club ladies and would not let go, even after the father told her to do so. The father ended up forcing her to let go and then the incident ended up in Station Four where the girl was submitting a complaint. It was settled but again, it shows how easily the practices of these employees can lead to entrapping a foreigner.) A further note on the difficulty in using the legal system to go after these individuals and the Doll House Group. One is a criminal case and the other is Civil. To pursue would take a minimum of P200,000 plus filing fees and it would take at least two years of litigation. Thomas does not have that kind of money and he also has a mother back in Sweden who is not well. Derek and the Dollhouse has both the time and the money to drag out any litigation for years. The decent thing that Derek could do is pick up the tab for Thomas's hospital bill plus damages and go from there. What's the chances of that happening??? His hospital bill as of 30 Dec was P90,000.00 NOTE: As of 15 Jan Thomas's hospital bill was about P150,000.
