Some of the housing on the hill has not been touched since 1991. However 4-5
companies are rapidly renovating the entire hill housing area. It looks like 100% of the
houses will be renovated or removed by mid year 1998. (Note:
The Asian Economic Crisis stopped much of the renovations
in base housing areas and in 2007 most of the houses in the
hill area remain untouched) |
